Yeah a good case study for Pranab Mukherjee to widen the tax net. But how could you forget the small tea stall where all the auto drivers sit? This good fellow opens his shop at 4.00am when all trucks arriving from outstation halt for their morning cup of ten. The saleble items in his small shop are - Buns, butter, biscuits, rusks, tea and cigarettes plus tea.Pls note - there is nothing else. And he takes home 12,000/- every evening. But he is playing with dirty utencils and minting money - taxfree.
But live life king size is totally another ball game. That comes with inherited education and good company.

There is a flaw in the definition. Haven't read Rich Dad Poor Dad - have been thinking of reading it for some time now.

Now suppose I am a government employee earning so and so Rupees monthly. I retire at say 40.

Another colleague of mine continues working till 50. He goes on to hold better positions in the organisation and earns more.

Once we retire, we both get a pension for the rest of our life.

Richest men of the world. When?

OK. Lets assume it is a very recent list. Have men always been self made billionaires? The answer is a clear know.

The Nizam of Hyderabad was an extremely rich fellow. So were some of the pharaohs of Egypt & many more rulers. All inherited wealth.

It is still the trend. Hasn't stopped as you can see in your list.

P.S. Try reading Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Billionaires are hard working - no doubt, but they had opportunities on their way as well. That is why they are billionaires whereas many other equally hard working people aren't!
